My son and I will be camping for the first time at Fort Wilderness in October. I haven't been able to find any current information on internet access at individual campsites. Are they still issuing modem kits? Are these modems WIFI?

Hi Chanel! Thanks for asking such a great question. I think this is a question that a lot of people have!

While I have never actually camped at The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, it is my understanding that they are very internet friendly! You will have to pick up a cable modem kit at Meadow Trading Post. You will need to place a deposit that will be refunded when you return the kit. These cable modem kits provide guests with high-speed internet access. There are also Wi-Fi hotspots that can also be found at some of the common areas.

There is also plenty of complimentary Wi-Fi in the majority of public places at the Walt Disney World Resort. It is available at all of the four major theme parks, both of Disney’s water parks, and at the Downtown Disney area.

Disney makes staying connected easy! I hope that you have a wonderful time at the Walt Disney World Resort!
