My son is building a droid, will he be able to take it on rise? He built one last year and I don’t remember it being a problem, but we didn’t ride rise last year.

    Bright Suns, Tara!

Welcome back to our planDisney planet! We're so happy you decided to park your podracer here again. I hope you're getting excited to journey back to The Most Magical Place on Earth in just a handful of days! Don't forget your sunscreen and an umbrella.

Your son is going to have a BLAST at Droid Depot! Make sure he has time to explore Galaxy's Edge with his Droid as some of them will react around Batuu! I'm happy to let you know that you are more than welcome to take your Droid on Rise of the Resistance. My brother, a couple of years back, took his with no problem on the ride. I do recommend getting a Droid backpack to keep the Droid safe while you ride. (If you don't get the backpack, be sure to have some sort of bag so the Droid doesn't roll around in the ride vehicle during the attraction.

After you, your son, and his Droid are done riding Rise of the Resistance, swing by the Milk Stand to get some Blue or Green Milk! (My family prefers the Green Milk.) Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo is also a great place to get a bite to eat -- there are always really delicious things on the menu.

If you have any additional questions, we hope you'll make the jump to lightspeed to visit us again with more questions.

May the Force be with you.

Meet the Panelist: Allyn, Florida

Hello! I am Allyn, your personal planDisney companion! I’ve enjoyed most of my life in the heart of Wyoming but am currently living my fairy tale as a wife, mom, yoga instructor, and fine jewelry designer in central Florida! When I’m not galavanting around the Disney theme parks, you’ll probably find me reading a good book, outside playing with my family, or learning to do something new. I truly believe that dreams come true, and I look forward to sharing that magic with you!
