Hi my son broke his leg and we go to Disneyland on December 4th. Can he still ride rides? Or anything?

Hi Sharon! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by and asking this great question. I'm always happy to help a fellow Coloradan!

I'm so sorry to hear that your son broke his leg. It sounds like some Disney magic at The Happiest Place on Earth will be just what he needs! He can still ride attractions provided he can transfer to the seat. Disney Cast Members are not allowed to physically lift Guests while transferring, but if a family member can assist him, he should be good to go. If you need a wheelchair for him, you can find information about wheelchair rentals here. If he has a cast, you might want to consider avoiding attractions such as Splash Mountain and Grizzly River Run, where he would get wet.

The Holidays have arrived and that will also help provide some cheer during your vacation at the Disneyland Resort! Whether you plan to visit Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, or both, there are so many holly, jolly things to see and do. Be sure that you have theme park reservations for each person in your travel party for each day you would like to visit the theme parks.

I'm wishing your son a speedy recovery! If you have more planning questions before you arrive, please feel free to send them to me. I would love to help!

    Happy Holiday Planning!
    Smiles,
    Lisa
