Hey, Lynn and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
One of my all-time favorite experiences at
Disney Springs is The VOID: Step Beyond Reality. We have done Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire twice because I just had to show K-2SO that I know how to play memory. This year we will surely enter the virtual world to join Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope von Schweetz in Ralph Breaks VR.
Depending on the age of your son's friend
The VOID: Step Beyond Reality has different policies. For safety reasons, participants under 10 years old MUST have a parent with them and only a parent may sign the waiver. For participants between the ages of 10-18 years old, a non-guardian may present a letter from the guardian that gives the adult (your husband) temporary guardianship to sign the waiver. I would write a letter like this.
Dear The VOID: Step Beyond Reality,
We, Mufasa and Sarabi, grant temporary guardianship of, Simba, age 10, to Zazu, for the sole purpose of signing the waiver to experience the attractions at The VOID: Step Beyond Reality during the time period of August 12, 2019, till August 20, 2019. Please call us at 1-PRIDEROCK with any questions.
Thank you,
Mufasa and Sarabi
Your husband, son and his friend are going to be lost in the illusion and will want to go back to (virtual) reality. It is so awesome!
Disney Dad Tip: Booking tickets ahead for The VOID: Step Beyond Reality will save time and keep you on schedule.
Lynn, thank you for the question and enjoy making many Magical Memories!
