My son is bringing his best friend on our WDW trip. His friend's mother purchased his tickets and received them via email. I know he will have to exchange these at guest services - but he won't have his mom's ID or debit card. Help!

Hey there, Julie! Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for stopping by with your question!
How incredible for your son that he gets to bring his very best friend to the Most Magical Place on Earth! My little boy has had the chance to spend time with his friends at Walt Disney World a few times, and those are memories that last a lifetime! Make sure that you do not forget to add Memory Maker to your vacation package so that you can keep every PhotoPass photo and special attraction video to cherish this special vacation and to share with his friend’s family!

Speaking of his friend, I’d love to let you know some options for claiming the Park Tickets his mother purchased for him in advance. Prior to the trip, have the boy’s mother contact Existing Ticket Services via telephone and request to have yourself added as a second name added to the order. This way, you should be able to be the one to claim the Tickets for him using just your photo ID.

An alternate option would be for his mother to link his Ticket to him via her or your My Disney Experience Account and link a MagicBand or Admission Card to his name in advance to bypass the Ticket Window and head straight into the Theme Park! This would make it so much easier for your whole travel party, given that you would then be able to book Park Pass Reservations for each of you in advance!

Julie, I hope that these tips help you continue to plan a simply unforgettable trip for your little boy and his best friend! If we can help you in any other way, please come back to see us again soon!

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Clara
