Hi i have 5 yo son born with Spina Bifida and he is ambulating with reversed walker. Is he allowed to walk around with his reversed walker or he needs to be in wheelchair all the time while in Disneyland Park?

    Greetings, Jessy!

Thanks for visiting us at planDisney, I’ll be more than happy to help answer your question. First off, welcome! I’m so excited to hear that your family will be visiting The Happiest Place on Earth very soon! You all must be so excited to finally Return to a Land of Magic!

Your son is more than welcome to bring his reversed walker. Keep in mind that there is quite a bit of walking involved when visiting the Disneyland Resort. So I do recommend that you consider renting a wheelchair to help get around easily. Since you are planning on visiting in the summer, a wheelchair will also give your son time to sit down and take a break.

The Disneyland Resort does an incredible job to ensure that Guests who need mobility assistance are supported during their visit. If you need additional information, I recommend contacting Disability Services. They will be able to help answer any other specific questions you may have.

Jessy, I’m sure your 5-year old will have a fantastic time. What do you think he will enjoy the most? My 6-year old is a huge Lightning McQueen fan. Radiator Springs Racers is his favorite attraction hands down! (Tip: If you can, try riding this attraction both during the day and in the evening, the lights reflecting from Cars Land makes the ride even more breathtaking).

    Ka-Chow!
