Dear Christian,
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
What a great way to celebrate your little Mouseketeer's special day–– with a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth!
While I've never seen anybody carry an actual birthday cake into the Parks, Park Rules don't specifically prohibit it.
However, I will share that you can certainly make things easier for yourself and your family if you don't want to carry a cake from the parking structure all through the Parks until it's time to blow out the candles!
The Disneyland Resort can have a
character cake delivered directly to your table service dining reservation! All you have to do is call (714) 781-3463 up to 60 days prior to your visit.
Also, there's a fantastic cupcake shop in the
Downtown Disney District called
Sprinkles.
Another idea is to pick up a dozen cupcakes from Sprinkles which may prove a little easier to manage.
Either way, there's an ample picnic area outside of the Disneyland Park Main Entrance where guests are encouraged to enjoy any outside food.
If you still decide to bring your own cake, you may be able to find an empty table near one of the many quick service dining locations inside the Parks so you can sit, relax and sing your boy the "Happy Birthday" song before enjoying the birthday dessert.
Don't forget to visit
Mickey's House and meet Mickey for a special birthday photo session with the Mouse that started it all!
I hope you have a Magical time!
