Hi Taisha,
Thanks for joining us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!
What a fun way to celebrate turning five years old with a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! I have a few ideas for you regarding celebrating your son's birthday.
If you don't think he will enjoy the attractions at the theme parks, have you considered just having a meal in one of the resort hotels on site?
Chef Mickey's is a wonderful buffet located in
Disney's Contemporary Resort that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Not only do you get to enjoy all sorts of delicious food, you also will be visited by the Fab Five (that's Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto, and Goofy) during your meal for autographs and photos.
If you would like to add a special treat to your dining experience, please give the friendly Cast Members at the
Cake Shop a call to discuss the perfect finish to your meal. The Cake Shop does deliver to specific restaurants within the Walt Disney World Resort.
Balloons and other beautiful gift packages are available through
Disney Floral and Gifts. They can deliver directly to the restaurant where you will be dining; I'd suggest setting the delivery time just prior to your arrival to ensure it is waiting for you. The Cast Members in the restaurant will deliver your gifts directly to your table.
Taisha, I hope your son's birthday is practically perfect in every way. Please come by and visit us again with any additional questions.
Best Wishes,
Amy S.
