If we take our son on his 3rd Birthday to Disneyland, does he need a ticket?

    Hi, Liana!

I’m glad to hear that you’re planning a visit to the Disneyland Resort with your birthday boy! As the mom of a 3-year-old myself, I know that your son is going to have a ball exploring the parks, and as a parent, you’ll love seeing all the magic through his eyes.

Babies and toddlers under three years old are able to enter the theme parks for free, but once children turn three years old, they require a theme park admission ticket. If your son will technically still be two years old at the time of your vacation, he won’t need a theme park ticket at all, but if you go on or after the actual date he turns three, then he will need a ticket.

I hope this helps, Liana. Please visit me again if you have any other questions as you continue planning your pixie-dusted vacation!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
