My son and his big brother are 22 and 26. My younger son has been to the resort before. They are both on the autistic spectrum. We were thinking of the all stars music for them. Re trans, would this be a good fit? Can they get passes @ town hall?

Hiya, James! Welcome back to planDisney!

I'm thrilled to hear that you're making plans to visit Walt Disney World Resort this March! Spring is my favorite season to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth and I'm absolutely twitterpated for you. James, I would love to help you with your vacation plans for your family!

Disney's All-Star Music Resort is a great place to call "home" during your trip! The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, and your sons will have complimentary bus transportation at their fingertips! This transportation is efficient and reliable, and bus times can be viewed in the My Disney Experience app. All you need to do is tap the icon that looks like three stacked lines in the bottom right corner, then tap Resort Hotel. I would recommend showing up about 15 minutes prior to the stated bus time.

This resort will likely be a good fit for your sons, especially since your younger son has been to the resort before. The familiarity and knowledge of how to navigate the resort are a big plus! However, please be aware that the bus service to Disney's All-Star Music Resort will also provide transportation to Disney's All-Star Movies Resort and Disney's All-Star Sports Resort. This may not be a concern for your family, but if you'd like more direct service to and from the parks, you may want to consider Disney's Pop Century Resort. This resort offers direct bus service as well as Disney Skyliner service. If you have any more specific questions, you can always call a Cast Member! They'll be happy to provide you with a little extra guidance for your family's needs.

James, when it comes to the Disability Access Service (DAS), the answer is yes – your sons can register in person at City Hall at Magic Kingdom Park. But wait, that's not all! I have some exciting news that will make this process even easier. Eligible Guests can now pre-register online 2 to 30 days prior to your park visit! This happens virtually via a live chat with a Cast Member, and I would recommend doing this closer to 30 days prior to your trip. The benefit to pre-registering is that your sons will be able to choose 2 one-hour return windows for select attractions (subject to availability). In addition, they will be able to select additional DAS selections through their My Disney Experience app once they enter the parks.

I hope I was able to point you in the right direction today! If you have any other questions, please reach out and write to us again.

You've got a friend in me!
