My son' best is coming with us. I plan to call tomorrow to add him to our room only reservation. Can his parents add their credit card to his magic band for payment!

    Hi Cheri,

Your son must be so excited to experience Walt Disney World Resort with his friend. This is so thoughtful of you to invite him.

While it is true that individual MagicBands can each link to a different credit card, for all additional credit cards beyond the primary that you would use to check-in, I believe that you must bring the physical credit card to the front desk. So unless he will bring it along, I think we might need to find another way to pay for his purchases.

One way that is easy and secure would be to use Disney Gift Cards. You can establish a PIN and secure MagicBand purchases using your credit card, then visit the front desk either nightly or the night before your departure to square any purchases that your Guest made using Disney Gift Cards rather than a charge to your Credit Card. This is particularly great if you create at DisneyGiftCard.com account. Here, you can manage your cards and transfer any available balances should one Gift Card go missing. This feature has saved me before!

I hope this helps, Cheri. Please come back and visit us with any additional questions!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
