My 23 y/o son has bad feet & will be in pain after 1 hour of standing/walking. By noon he will not be able to walk. Would it be best to rent a wheel chair upon arrival? With limited supplies, do the parks run out quickly? Thank you for any advise.

    Hi Lori!
Knowing how much I love to walk in the parks, I can completely see where you might be concerned. Thankfully, wheelchair rentals are available in all four theme parks as well as Downtown Disney. The cost for rental is $12 per day at the theme parks, and $12 per day plus $100 refundable deposit at Downtown Disney. Wheelchair rentals are not available at Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon.
If you arrive at the parks in the morning, you should have no issue getting a wheelchair. There have been instances where guests arriving in the latter part of the day were unable to receive a wheelchair, especially on peak attendance days. Keep in mind that there are only for use at the theme parks. They cannot be removed from the parks, nor used at the resorts. If you are looking for a duration of stay rental, I would recommend contacting an independent wheelchair rental company, such as Walkermobility.com. Thisway you would be able to keep the wheelchair for the entire stay and use it at the resorts.
Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
