Hi, My son is an avid animal lover and I think he would really enjoy the Rainforest Cafe. I notice it is not included in the Disney Dining Plan. Is it worth it to pay for out of pocket or should we skip it for something else that is?

    Hi Christina!

Although I'm big on saving a penny wherever I can, I think in this case you definitely should pay and take your son to Rainforest Cafe'. It is a children's favorite, and, next to the T-Rex restaurant (also not covered under the Dining Plan), there really isn't a restaurant at Disney quite like it! With all the mechanical wildlife, aquarium, animal sounds, rain/drizzle, it's really a very unique experience. And the food isn't half-bad! Depending on his age, he'll spend as much time looking up and around as he will actually eating when he's there. And of course, he'll love you for it Mom! :-)

Have a terrific time in the Rainforest and at other Disney locales!
