Hi! my son is autistic and is severely allergic to a lot of things including: eggs, shellfish, fish, nuts, peanuts, citrus, milk. He eats: soy/wheat , which is usually spaghetti, nuggets (no butter/milk breading), soy pizza Can you suggest options pls

    Greeting, Cherie Ann,

One of the things that make the Disneyland Resort the Happiest Place on Earth is how accommodating Cast Members are toward guests of all abilities and needs. As a parent of children with autism myself, I can appreciate the concern about planning your special visit.

Because menu offerings are often updated, please request the latest allergy-friendly menu at each dining location you visit. You may also request to consult with a chef or special diets-trained Cast Member before placing an order. For specific concerns you would like to address beforehand, I recommend emailing the Disneyland Resort Special Diets Team. You may also call (714) 781-DINE or (714) 781-3463.

Here are some dining recommendations I would like to share. For Quick Service in Disneyland Park, consider Alien Pizza Planet for their Space-getti with Meatballs or a yummy hamburger at Red Rose Taverne. The Table Service restaurant Carnation Cafe offers a Roasted Turkey Sandwich that may be suitable without the cheese. For Quick Service in Disney California Adventure Park, my family always love a visit to Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta. Their Kids' Disney Check Meal - Spaghetti with Turkey Meatballs may be an option to consider. I like that they allow to mix and match sides there; so we often pick two mandarin oranges since my daughter doesn’t care for the yogurt smoothies. I recently tried the Plant-based Philly Dog at Award Wieners. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the flavor was. And the Vegan Crema on that menu item may be a good option for those with dairy allergies. For a Table Service option, I recommend Wine Country Trattoria. Some options there may include the Grilled Chicken Breast or the Choose Your Pasta and How it’s Prepared! For Character Dining, I recommend Goofy’s Kitchen. You may request a Cast Member point out all allergy-friendly options on the buffet before you start.

I hope you have a delicious time at the Disneyland Resort, Cherie Ann. Please stop by with any additional questions you may have.

    Bon appétit!
