Hi Marianna,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thanks for coming to us with your question.
Walt Disney World resort is known for the special way that all Guests, regardless of their abilities, feel as soon as they pass through the gates. I am thrilled that your family will experience this very soon.
Guests who are unable to use the traditional queue system are welcome to visit Guest Relations at the entrance to any of the four theme parks for a
Disabilities Access Service Card, which is often abbreviated as DAS. There is a quick registration process that does involve sharing with a Cast Member that a convention queue would not be possible, and a quick photograph. Then your group will be on your way.
When you reach an attraction, inform a Cast Member at the entrance that your party is traveling with a Disabilities Access Service Card. He or she will issue you a return time when you can enter without the queue process. In the meantime, enjoy another experience! Your son does not need to be with you when you request a return time, but he must enter the attraction with you when you return.
Your son's Disabilities Access Service Card is valid in all four theme parks once
issued, and is valid for up to 14-days.
I hope that helps, Marianna! Please visit us again if you have any additional questions. We are here to help!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Sally
