My son has Autism and has visited Simba's Cub House since our first visit to AKL in 2007. He is 12 years old, will he be able to attend beyond 12 years as he has a disability. It enables us to have a date night and he enjoys time away from us. Thank you

    Hi Amanda,

Simba's Cub House is a fun option for parents and kids. Children ages 3 to 12 are kept busy and entertained with fun activities, while mom & dad get to enjoy an evening out. My experience is that Disney does adhere to the 12 year age limit.

You might consider looking into alternative baby sitting options. Kids Night Out provides in-room sitting services. They typically care for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years, but they also care for children with disabilities. I recommend calling (1-800-696-8105) for details. They may be able to work with you to help meet the needs of you and your family.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
