My son has autism and is very sensitive to loud noises. He loves going on the rides in WDW but he is always holding his ears. Does disney allow children to wear ear muffs on rides or should we just stick with earplugs (which don't seem to work as well)?

    Hi George,

Walt Disney World is a loud and colorful place.  It's easy to see how some children (and adults) can become overwhelmed.  Your son is welcome to wear ear muffs on the rides.  He may even want to wear ear muffs and ear plugs together.

Let us know if you need a list of quiet places to which your family can retreat in each of the Disney theme parks.  We'd be happy to provide any information that might make your family's trip more enjoyable.

Best wishes to you and your family!
