Welcome to planDisney and thank you for taking the time to send us your great question. I am happy to see that you are planning to visit Disneyland Resort with your son, I am positive that you will make many happy memories together during your visit to the "Happiest Place on Earth"!

You are in luck, Disneyland Resort has recently announced an official reopening date of April 30, 2021 for both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park for California Residents. While specific information regarding the purchase of Theme Park Tickets and the Theme Park Reservation system have not been released, I would recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the most up to date information regarding the reopening of Disneyland Resort.
