My son has autism. Is the Polynesian conducive to special needs?

Hi, Leanne!  I find that most of the cast members will really do their best when it comes to helping those with special needs.  Some of this will depend on what your son's needs are.

The Polynesian is quite a tranquil, tropical oasis.  There is a lot of landscaping, and I find it to be one of the most peaceful of the resort settings.  Some children with autism have an issue with certain sounds, and I do know that a friend with an autistic son has some difficulty taking him by the waterfalls, which you will find at the Great Ceremonial Hall - or the main building.

If you want to let me know what some of your son't specific needs are, I can be more specific in letting you know whether I think the Polynesian would be a good choice.

    Happy planning!
