My son has autism and likely will not ride the monorail or ferry. We are staying off site and have 8:05 breakfast reservations at Chrystal Palace. Can you advise me the best way to get there? Thanks!

Hello, Jane, welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, we thank you for this excellent question regarding transportation to The Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom Park.

A jolly good time awaits with Winnie the Pooh and Friends at this delicious all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet breakfast. Have your camera and autograph book ready for when the Disney Characters take their turns coming to your table for a quick greet, autograph, and photo. We always seat our Autistic son near the path where the Disney Characters walk through so that he doesn't have to stand up for each visit.

To get to The Crystal Palace without using Disney's Monorail or Ferryboat transportation, you and your son can be dropped off at Disney's Contemporary Resort, then follow the scenic footpath to the base of Magic Kingdom Park, where you could meet whoever drove you after they've parked their vehicle at the Magic Kingdom Park Parking Lot.

Jane, may I offer Disney's Services for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities in preparation for your visit which will afford your son a more inclusive and enjoyable experience. In particular, may I direct your attention to Disney's Disability Access Service (DAS) and the online, easy to download Guide for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities?
