My son has Autism and we would like to see fantasmic. We have been before (that was whne Fan. was every night) and I don't think he could last 90 minutes waiting for it to start. Any suggestions for how to get in without waiting that long?

Hi Jessica! Thanks for coming back to ask. I can completely understand your concern regarding the wait time for Fantasmic! at Disney's Hollywood Studios. You might want to consider making reservations for a Fantasmic Dining Package (FDP). This package will grant your family access to the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater through an alternate entrance. With a FDP you are guaranteed seating for Fantasmic! If you are not using the Disney Dining Plan, you will be required to put a credit car on file when making your FDP reservation. However, you won't be charged until you eat at the restaurant. You will receive VIP vouchers and given instructions to arrive at the alternate entrance gate no later than thirty minutes prior to show time. I would suggest getting there at least forty five minutes in advance. FDP has a designated seating area, but if you get to the amphitheater early, you can still enter through the FDP line and sit wherever you want since you are not required to sit in the reserved seating. You may also consider bringing a stroller for your son, and asking Guest Relations to mark it as a 'stroller used as a wheelchair.' That endorsement will enable you to bring it into all lines and continue using it the same as a wheelchair. If you don't book a FDP, present your son's Guest Assistance Card to any of the Cast Members in the amphitheater. Your family will be directed to the rows designated for disabled guests. However, you may be able to choose your seats within those rows. I would recommend booking a FDP, that way your son won't have to endure as long a wait before the show begins. Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance. Have a memorable vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort!
