Greetings Elizabeth, and welcome to planDisney! I am so glad that you were able to bring your important planning question to us today.
Guests with disabilities can use the
Disability Access Service or DAS if they are unable to wait in a conventional attraction queue. This service does not give front-of-the-line access to rides and experiences. It does give you a return time comparable to that of current standby wait times. This will allow your Mouseketeers to experience another ride, grab a snack, or browse a nearby shop. This service is free to all Guests who qualify and it is valid for 60 days.
Guests can now pre-register for DAS as early as 30 days before your first park visit and as late as 2 days before your arrival. Your pre-registration can be completed with a Cast Member in a virtual chat. Before you sign in for your live chat session, make sure that everyone in your party has a valid Theme Park admission ticket and
Disney Park Pass reservation linked to their My Disney Experience account for each day you plan to visit a theme park. Once your registration is complete, the Cast Member will work with you to set up 2 one-hour return times for select experiences and attractions using
DAS Advance planning. Cast Members are available from 7:00 A.M to 10:00 P.M. I recommend signing on early in the day when wait times are minimal. You can still register for DAS in person at Guest Relations near the entrance to all Theme Parks. You will still be able to reserve one DAS attraction at a time during your visit.
You will also be able to use the Same-Day DAS Return Time Self-Selection Tool in the My Disney Experience mobile app to select an additional DAS return time for your entire party. When you redeem your DAS selections, you will use the Lightning Lane entrance for entry to your selected experiences. You can have one DAS reservation at a time, once you have scanned in for your experience, you can use the app to reserve another. If you do not have a smartphone available, Cast Members can still assist you at the entrance to the ride or attraction.
