My son has Autism and a big part of the Disney cruise for him is the Oceaners Kids club but he turns 11 just before we cruise, could he still join this club please? It would devastate him if he couldn’t and he is younger than his age. Thanks

Ahoy there, Sally! Thank you for sailing by planDisney with your question.

Disney's Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab have specific age requirements for the safety of young Guests, who are 3 to 10 years old. With that being said, I suggest you call or email Disney Cruise Line Special Services and discuss your concerns and options for your son. You can visit these spaces, as well as the tween club Edge, with your son during Open House, when families are invited to play together. Open House times will be located in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you are onboard. The Information for Guests and Autism Spectrum Disorder resource is also available to you.

Sally, although I may not be able to provide the answer, consulting directly with Disney Cruise Line will likely give you the best solution. If you have any Disney vacation planning questions, planDisney is here for you and your family.

    Adventure is out there!
