Hello, Michelle Anne!
While the President's Day Weekend is typically a busy few days at Walt Disney World® Resort, the crowd levels are actually forecasted to be at a 6 out of 10 - totally manageable and it's only for a few days! I do not think it will be too busy for your family. Mid-late February is a fantastic time to vacation; especially if you have a good plan in place. Here are a few tips to help your prince not get too stressed.
• Enjoy the theme parks early in the morning. Crowds are at the highest in the afternoon hours, making that a great time for you to return to your resort so your son may have some downtime
• Dine during off-peak hours. I suggest 11:00am for lunch and right at 5:00pm for dinner
I'm so excited he wants to participate in the
Enchanted 10K! Nothing beats running as a family, but with 10,000 runners, there will be times of crowds. Here are some tips to help on race day
• Stay in the back of your assigned corral to allow him plenty of space. When the race starts, stay in the back and start out slow. This will allow the majority of runners to move ahead and give him ample running space
• Run along the sides of the course. This will keep your son from feeling surrounded when runners behind you catch up or you encounter crowded spots on the course
• Bring ear plugs or ear buds if your son is sensitive to loud nosies. There will be loud music while you wait for the race to begin and fireworks at the start
You can have a successful vacation with the right plan and I'm here to help you achieve that. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me for any additional questions you may have.
