My son has an annual pass for Disney. He will be going with his grandparents for a trip in a few months. His grandparents are not pass holders. If my son (age 8) is in the car can my he show his pass to get free parking.

Hi there, Hilary! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I have an 8-year-old Mouseketeer as well who is always ready for his next trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth.

It sounds like your son will be in for a treat with his grandparents in just a couple of months! You (and Grandma and Grandpa) will be happy to know that a Cast Member just confirmed with me that his Annual Pass is good for standard Theme Park parking, leaving a little more change in their pockets for a Mickey Bar! Before your family hits the road, don't forget to review all of the additional Walt Disney World Passholder benefits, like discounts on Merchandise at select locations.

Since your family will be arriving in March, make sure to let them know that Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway will be ready for them, with an opening date scheduled for March 4, 2020. This is any heights attraction at Disney's Hollywood Studios that will be fun for all ages and featuring the "Big Cheese" himself.

Happy planning, Hilary! Stop back and see us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions!

My husband and I became Disney Vacation Club Members because we love visiting the Disney Parks and with hectic day-to-day schedules, wanted to prioritize time away for our family. The options at the Walt Disney World Resort make each trip unique and I am excited to help other families build vacations with those unforgettable moments.
