My son will be 9 (almost 10) years old when we head to Disney. Can I upgrade him to the adult dining plan as he no longer cares for kids menus? We have been several times so are familiar with the offerings. Thank you.

Hello, Amy! Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel for help in planning your next magical vacation! I’m thrilled to hear that you are on your way back!

Yes, you can absolutely upgrade your son to the adult portions or offerings for the Disney Dining Plan. When you book your vacation package,  you’ll also need to purchase adult park tickets for him in order to have the adult menus available to him. Your Cast Member or Travel Agent (I love using Travelmation for anything I can’t book myself) can assist with the booking and making sure you choose an adult ticket package for your son.

If there is anything else I can help you with, please let me know. Eat until your tummy is as full as your heart! ~ Lindsey P.
