Hello, Cheryl,
Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Columbia Harbour House is a family favorite, and we especially like that even on crowded days, it seems the second floor always has plenty of space. To this day, too, my grown sons love eating in what they call "the secret passage" where a small extension of the restaurant overlooks both Liberty Square and Fantasyland.
To help with your question, Disney Mom Beth actually just stopped by the restaurant today to eat and asked your question. She learned that they will cook the chicken separately (make sure to alert them about your son's food allergy); but they shared that with the large volume of fish, they thought you may feel more comfortable eating elsewhere. Since there are over
20 different counter service dining options to choose from at the Magic Kingdom, you'll still have lots of great choices. Disney Mom Crystal also suggested that you reach out to
Special Dietary Requests as they have been very helpful with her son's food allergies when her family visits Walt Disney World.
Wishing you a magical trip! If we can help with any further questions, please let us know. -
Kara
