    My son is under the age of three and we are visiting Disney World. I understand that he will be admitted into the parks free of charge and can eat off of our plates/buffet. Do we need some type of proof, like a birth certificate? Thank you.

    Hi there Meghan and congrats on your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!

    2 years old is the perfect age to take your little Prince on a Walt Disney World adventure.  My little Princess had visited the parks several times before her 3rd birthday, so I am happy to use my personal experience with this to help answer your question.

    To my knowledge, Disney is kind of on an "honor" system, so to speak, when it comes to children under 3.  Prior to my daughter's 3rd birthday, even though she was very tall for a 2 year old, I was never asked to verify her birthdate. We had no problems entering the parks or sharing food in the Disney restaurants. To be on the safe side, I always carried a copy of her both certificate along just in case, even though I never had to show it.

    I hope you guys have an absolutely amazing Walt Disney World vacation full of magic and wonder!  I just know you will create memories that will truly last a lifetime!  Be sure to let us here at the Moms Panel know if we can answer any additional questions!
