My son is afraid of snakes. Like really afraid of snakes. Are there any attractions we need to avoid? Can we go to the Animal Kingdom?

    Hi, Lara!

Oh, if you only knew my sister!  You just say the word "snake" and she freaks out!   There are a few attractions you will want to avoid:  Jungle Cruise in Magic Kingdom and  Great Movie Ride Hollywood Studios.  And while it's a cute snake, there is a snake it's a small world.  I think there is one more snake-sighting in a scene in the woods while on the train ride from Main Street to Frontierland.  As far as restaurants, avoid the Rainforest Cafe.

To be safe, before you enter the line for any attraction, ask the cast member if there are snakes.  I am sure this is a common question they are used to!

As far as Animal Kingdom, I do not recall snakes anywhere, so you should be OK there.   Randomly ask cast members that you might chat with who might have some other thoughts of where there might be some snake sightings!

Wishing you a magic filled, snake-free vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
