My son is afraid of mascots, dressed characters, etc, so we made dinner reservations at the Be Our Guest Restaurant because it is not listed as Character Dining. However, we recently learned that Beast walks around the dining room. Is this correct?

Hello, Deeci!  Welcome to the Moms Panel!

The Beast does make an appearance during your dining experience at Be Our Guest.  With my last two visits, he made an appearance approximately every 45 minutes and walks down the middle of the Grand Ballroom and stops at the entrance to the West Wing. His presence is very brief and he will not stop by each table.  You are allowed a photo opportunity with Beast at the end of your dining experience, but you can choose to bypass this.

Thank you so much for visiting the Moms Panel.  Please join us again real soon should any new questions or concerns pop-up.  We are always ready to offer some great tips and advice.  I hope your Walt Disney World vacation is filled with many new and MAGICAL memories.
