    Hi, my son (13) and I have an advance dining reservation at Flying Fish on 4/3 at 7 p.m. Will we be finished in time to see Epcot's Illuminations?

    Hi Susan,

    Flying Fish is a wonderful venue in which to spend an evening with your son!  The seafood is incredibly fresh and artfully prepared.  There are ample options for non-seafood eaters as well.  The wine list and desserts don't disappoint either!  If you arrive a few minutes (10-15) before your reservation and let your server know that you want to walk over to Epcot in time for Illuminations, you should be fine.  I would allow 15-20 minutes to walk to the International Gateway entrance of the park (at a leisurely pace) and secure a spot.   People do tend to start gathering around the lagoon where the show takes place up to an hour early, so you may not be able to be right up against the water, but will be able to see the show.  We very often eat on the BoardWalk or the World Showcase around 7pm and head out just in time for the show.  I call it the "perfect ending" to a wonderful Disney day!
