Hello there, Tony! Welcome to planDisney. We are so glad you've stopped by with your question for us.
Soon you will be arriving at The Happiest Place on Earth and we want to make sure you are ready to have the best few days ever. Disneyland is a place for everyone and I am always impressed with the way Disney makes sure that everyone is equipped to have a wonderful time at Disneyland Resort. If you think your son may benefit from some extra assistance,
Disability Access Service, commonly referred to as DAS, may be something you want to look into. This service assists Guests who may have difficulty tolerating extended waits in the attraction queues. You can register for DAS and see if you qualify by visiting City Hall in Disneyland Park, the Chamber of Commerce in Disney California Adventure Park, or a Guest Information location. If you qualify, it will give you accommodations through the length of your ticket/visit. There also is DAS Advance which allows you to register before your visit via an online video call with a Cast Member. This is offered up to 30 days before your arrival, but no less than 2 days before your arrival.
You'll be arriving just in time to enjoy the last few days of all the
Halloween time fun! I definitely recommend taking in all the fun decorations that the citizens of Radiator Springs have done to turn their town into Radiator Screams. You also don't want to miss all that
Plaza de la Familia has to offer which runs through November 2, 2023.
Tony, I hope this information is helpful. You've got a friend in us if you have any other questions along the way!
Carrie
