    Hello! My son absolutely loves Mater, but I understand the Cars meet and greet has been permanently closed. Is there any other way to meet Mater? Thanks!

    Hi Maris,

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Due to all of the exciting changes taking place at Disney's Hollywood Studios, the Meet and Greet with Lightning McQueen and Mater on the Streets of America has been discontinued. 

    In order to meet Mater you'll need to make a "Pit Stop" at Disney's Art of Animation Resort and check out the Cars wing. The Resort brings the movie to life with the themed landscape and Characters including Lightning McQueen, Mater, Fillmore, Sarge and others from the popular film. Your son will be saying "Ka-Chow" when he sees all of his favorite friends!
