Hey there, Craig!
Thanks for popping into planDisney with your question for us!
I think you're most likely referring to the
"First-Time Visitors" content in the Tickets & Visit Guide on the Walt Disney World Resort website. I find that the Tickets & Visit Guide is chock-full of cool content to ignite the imagination of any Guest. What I really love about all the recommendations offered up, and why I often refer Guests to the Tickets & Visit Guide, is that there really are great suggestions for just about every type of Guest. Whether you're a first-time visitor, a thrill-seeker, traveling with a little one, a food lover, or an adult Guest, you'll see suggested attractions and entertainment you'll want to add to your theme park plans.
I absolutely agree with the First-Time Visitor suggestions, and many of them are also my own personal favorites. No matter how many times I've visited Walt Disney World Resort, I always add Soarin' Around the World, Spaceship Earth, Toy Story Mania!, and Cinderella Castle to my plans.
Speaking of Cinderella Castle, whether you're visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth for your first time or your umpteenth time, you're gonna want a photo to cherish the moment. Here's a personal tip I always like to share. I think Cinderella Castle makes for a beautiful photo moment background from many different views. Yes, I think capturing the classic view looking up Main Street, U.S.A. is a must-do. What I find fun and convenient is that there are
Disney PhotoPass photographers positioned at different points around Cinderella Castle, so pause for them and smile and capture all the different views of this iconic attraction!
Here's another tip I always like to share with first-time visitors. When you check out each of the theme parks on the website, you'll find that the park's guide map is available to view. These are the same guide maps printed and distributed for Guests when they visit the theme park. For example, you can find the
Magic Kingdom Park Guide Map on the Magic Kingdom Park's page. Taking a look at the guide maps is a great way to get familiar with what's where in the theme parks.
