Is there somewhere secure I can leave a camera, For example, an area before you get on a ride you can leave things and get it when you get off the ride. Or can husband hold and then go on ride next? We plan to bring a nice DSLR camera...

    Hi Valorie!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! 2019 is going to be a terrific year to visit Walt Disney World Resort.

I love that Disney's Theme Parks allow guests to bring personal property on attractions; so many theme parks now require that you check everything, including bottled water and cell phones, in timed pay-lockers at every attraction. While there are rentable lockers in each Disney Theme Park, they are centrally located near each park's entrance, and would be a bit of a nuisance to visit between each attraction.

I often travel with my really big DSLR to capture precious moments with my preschooler. All thrill rides will have a secure space for your gear, which are usually large pockets on your actual ride vehicle that feature a top flap or a bungee type opening that secure up to medium-size purses and bags. I always bring a backpack, which I place on the floor and 'step through' the straps. For a bit more security, I'll tuck it in the space between the back of my legs and the seat.

You may also take turns with another rider. On attractions where you both have the same pre-booked FastPass+ experience, one would need to enter right at the start time of your one-hour ride window so the other will have plenty of time to ride in that same time frame. If not using a FastPass+ experience, you both would need to utilize the stand-by or single-rider line for each turn on the attraction. Pro Tip: In this case of wanting to protect a camera, I would book my FastPass+ selections for only thrill and water rides as the tame, all-height attractions are all so gentle, that newborn babies are allowed to enjoy them.

I hope this helped, Valorie, and We'll See You Real Soon!
