Hello there, Susan. Welcome to planDisney!
I think you will be happy to know that your husband can drop you off for you to enjoy the day at
Magic Kingdom Park. However, he'll need to drop you off at the Transportation and Ticket Center which is the parking hub for Magic Kingdom Park and oftentimes referred to as the TTC. When you pull up to the parking booths, your husband can mention that he is just dropping you off. You won't be charged a parking fee and he'll be directed on where to go. Then, once he drops you off, you'll go through security and then can make your way to the transportation options to take you over to Magic Kingdom Park. From the Transportation and Ticket Center, you can take the
express monorail straight over to the theme park or you can take the
Ferryboat. I don't have a preference on which one I like better, I typically head for the one that is already there and loading people up. Sometimes, there is also a bus that runs between the Transportation and Ticket Center and Magic Kingdom Park. As you can tell, there are plenty of options that will get you to where you want to go! When you are done for the day, your husband will be able to pick you up over at the Transportation and Ticket Center again. You'll head back via the ferryboat or monorail. It can be fun to try the other form of transportation on the way back for a different experience.
Magic Kingdom Park is so amazing and I know you are going to have a great day visiting, Susan. One of my favorite snacks, and completely unique to Magic Kingdom Park are the spring rolls over in Adventureland. They are really popular and can sell out pretty quickly. If you see the cart and are in the mood for a snack, be sure to grab yourself one! Also, if you are staying until the park closes, I highly encourage you to watch the firework spectacular -
Happily Ever After. It's my favorite firework display that has ever been at Walt Disney World and it's only around for a few more months. It's beautiful and I don't think you'd regret staying for it.
I hope this helps, Susan. If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help. Have fun!
