Is there somewhere I can leave my carry-on luggage if I arrive at my resort before check in and I want to get a head start on visiting the parks?

Hi Monica, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

The short answer to your question is "Absolutely!"  In the event your hotel room is not available upon your arrival at your Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you will certainly be able to leave your carry-on luggage and belongings with Bell Services and enjoy the amenities at your Resort, take a dip in the pool, or even make a trip to the Theme Parks or Disney Springs.

While official check-in time at Walt Disney World Resort hotels is 3 p.m., (or 4 p.m. at Disney Vacation Club Resorts), sometimes when I have arrived before official check-in time, my room has been ready and waiting. Therefore, upon arrival at your Resort hotel, I suggest you check with the front desk to see if a room might be available. Better yet, you may wish to complete Disney Online Check-In using your My Disney Experience account. When completing online check-in, you will be able to notify Disney of your expected arrival time, and even provide your mobile phone number so you can receive a text message with your room number once your room is ready. Provided you have your MagicBand, which should be mailed to you shortly before your trip, you will then be able to go directly to your room without having to stop at the front desk.

I hope this information is helpful Monica. Should you have any other questions, please let us know. We are here to help and want you to have the best possible upcoming Disney vacation!

    Magically Yours,

    Trish
