Hi, sometimes I have to wear a portable tens machine (myoovi) for pain relief but I’m concerned if this will be stopped by security please advise? thank you 😊

    Hi there Robyn!

Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. I can understand the need to have the comforts of home while on vacation, especially after spending a day on your feet in the theme parks.

Portable TENS units are not on the list of prohibited items in the Walt Disney World Property Rules. However, it is important to know that you will need to pass through security screening before entering the theme parks, and the Property Rules state that items not listed may be prohibited at the discretion of the Cast Members. I recommend having the TENS unit easily accessible in your bag, so you can quickly pull it out of your bag to show it to the Security Cast Member if asked.

Your visit is scheduled during the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, Robyn! As you count down to your visit, check the Disney Parks Blog for updates about the Candlelight Processional, the menus of the Holiday Kitchens, and of course, any special holiday merchandise available. If you have any more questions as you plan your visit, please come see me again at planDisney!

    Have a holly jolly holiday,
