Hey there, hi there, Denise!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney where you're always as welcome as can be. I'm happy to assist a fellow Mouseketeer with
dining reservations today. Let's dig in!
Chef Mickey's is one of the most FUN dining experiences in Walt Disney World. It's also a fantastic deal when using a
dining plan, so it's no surprise it can be a tough reservation to score. You're on the right track, going for it at precisely 60 days out. Denise, I checked for you, and as of now, I'm seeing quite a bit of availability for various party sizes during breakfast and dinner at Chef Mickey's on May 5. Your options are limited if you're a party of two, but larger groups have several seatings to choose from between 5 and 9 PM. I recommend trying again on the Walt Disney World website to see if something works for you.
I find persistence pays off when scheduling dining for an upcoming vacation. If I can't get the exact time or restaurant I want at the 60-day mark, I check back frequently as my trip approaches. Recently, I've had good luck snagging a reservation just one or two days before I arrive. As Guests finalize their itineraries, sometimes plans change, so you never know when your preferred restaurant will have an opening. When my family wants to be spontaneous, we love the
walk-up feature on the
My Disney Experience mobile app. Last month, we used this to dine at
San Angel Inn Restaurante and
Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen. It's such a handy mouseketool!
I hope this is helpful, Denise, and that your dining dreams come true on your upcoming vacation. Best wishes for a memorable trip, and if there's anything else we at
planDisney can do to make it even more magical, please come back and see us again. We're all ears!
Cheers,
Betsy
