What is something special we could do to celebrate 2 people's 1st time to Disney and the fact it has been about 20 years since I have been. Our other guest is an AP. We have our ADRs and are staying at AOA. This is a late bday trip for me and a 1st timer

    Hi Courtney,

Congratulations on your upcoming FIRST trip to Walt Disney World! There are many unique ways to celebrate your first visit and birthday.

First, be sure to include your celebrations on your reservations. By noting these events on your hotel and dining reservations, you'll give cast members the opportunity to sprinkle you with some extra surprises. While not guaranteed, often you'll receive complimentary desserts and other small tokens of appreciation.

At check-in, ask for First Time and Birthday buttons. These pins can be worn throughout your visit! They are complimentary from your hotel's front desk or any Guest Relations location throughout Walt Disney World.

Since you'll be busy catching up on all the magic that has been created since your last visit 20 years ago, you may not have time for extra adventures such as a fireworks cruise. If you do, one of my fave birthdays at WDW was when my family sailed from the Grand Floridian to watch the fireworks.

WDW is also known for great bakeries, and the celebration cakes are amazing. A nice compliment to the end of a meal is to order a custom cake via (407) 827-2253.

Commemorate the special occasions with a Family portrait!
