    what is something special we can do for anniversary. We will be there October 2015. We have (2) 80+ year olds, ourselves and a (14) year old and a (16) year old. Thanks!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your family is coming to the perfect place for celebrations of all kinds! During our wedding weekend at Walt Disney World Resort, we were also fortunate enough to celebrate my grandparents wedding anniversary of 45 years. It was such a special night. My favorite place to celebrate is California Grill. Since this restaurant is located on the top floor of Disney's Contemporary Resort, it has fantastic views of Seven Seas Lagoon and Magic Kingdom to enjoy during your meal. You can even go out on the balconies to enjoy the sunset, breeze, and views. We have amazing pictures of our celebration weekend from that balcony! Beyond the incredible food and gorgeous views, my favorite part of dinner at California Grill is being able to view Wishes Nighttime Spectacular from their balconies. All dinner Guests for the evening are welcome to view the fireworks show here and it is a one-of-a-kind experience to view the show from above Magic Kingdom. It is the perfect way to end your celebration dinner.

    When you make your reservation, you can note that you are celebrating an anniversary. (I have found the best way to do this is by calling the dining fairy godmothers and godfathers at (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463.) Our family loves the desserts at California Grill and we enjoy these special creations at our celebrations. My favorites have been the evening's seasonal special dessert. They featured a trio of peach desserts on our last trip that I loved! If you would prefer a cake, you can order a custom creation to be delivered for your dinner by calling the bakery at (407) 827-2253. However you choose to celebrate the special day, I know it will be amazing!
