Say Cheese, Sadie--welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for making a return trip with another great question. It sounds like you are getting all of your (Donald) ducks in a row for your December vacation at
Walt Disney World Resort, and I certainly approve. You've got a friend in me, and I'm here to help with the information you're looking for.
Hands down, my most treasured souvenirs from our Disney vacations are our
Disney PhotoPass pictures. Since bringing my girls (now teens!) starting when they were about the ages of your princesses, those photos have traced their growth from their first visits to the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique to the present. Our most recent family vacation was a quick visit, and I purchased
Memory Maker One Day to capture the photos of their first independent trip to the theme parks.
Sadie, Memory Maker One Day will give you access to unlimited digital downloads of images from certain attractions, as well as the photos taken by PhotoPass photographers. You can purchase this in advance of your trip and then decide which day you would like to use the Memory Maker for once you see all of the photos. When you view the photos from the desired day, you can select any photo and see an option to activate the Memory Maker.
If you already know which day you want to use the Memory Maker, you can activate it on that date once the first photo is taken and appears in your
My Disney Experience app. Whether you activate your Memory Maker same-day or after the fact, once you complete this step the photos from that date should be viewable without watermarks so you can download them to your heart's content.
I hope this information is just what you need for your planning purposes, Sadie! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney again and please don't hesitate to reach out again if we can be of any additional help as your holiday visit approaches.
See Ya Real Soon!
Susan
