    Someone told me that when they went, they were able to charge everything around the park to their room and it was very convenient. Is it still possible to pay for extra food, beverage, gifts, etc. that way?

    Yes Judy this wonderfully convenient benefit is still available.

    When you check into your resort you will be given a Key to the World card. This card unlocks your room door and allows you to charge purchases, meals, and even drinks and ice cream from the snack carts to your account. You can grab a Diet Coke or Mickey ice cream without counting out dollar bills and quarters! Tickets to the parks are also added so your Key to the World card is all you need to carry. This ease and convenience is one of the great benefits to staying at a Walt Disney World resort.
