Hello, Can someone tell me if the Wilderness Lodge has any standard rooms with views of Magic Kingdom and also about the dining options there. We are trying to decide where to stay in Dec with our 3 boys ages 10,9, and 3. Any info about WL would be great!

    Hi Christine!
Wilderness Lodge has quickly become my new favorite Deluxe Resort at Walt Disney World. The theming is great, it's not spread out all over the place, the pool is nice, and the food choices are decent. However, for all of its awesomeness, none of the rooms have a Magic Kingdom view, unfortunately.
As for dining, Whispering Canyon Cafe offers some rowdy dining for the entire family, while Artist Point offers a more serene, upscale experience. You could also hit the quick service, Roaring Forks, snack bar for daily chef's specials, salads, burgers, etc.
I belive the hotel also offers a tour describing the history of the resort which is quite interesting. You're also just a short boat ride away from Magic Kingdom. If the budget allows, I would not hesitate to stay at this magnificent property.
I hope this helps and I wish you all a Magical vacation!! :)
