Hello! Can someone tell me what the start and end dates are for the Minnie's Seasonal Dining events this year at Hollywood and Vine? For example, What dates do the Halloween and Holiday themes start and end? Thank You!!

    Hi Brandy,

Welcome back to planDisney! Your question is well-timed: We just got word that Hollywood & Vine at Hollywood Studios will reopen for Minnie's Seasonal Dining beginning September 25, 2020. Online reservations open September 11.

That's great news for everyone who has been missing the chance to break bread in the presence of favorite Disney pals. During the phased reopening of the theme parks, resorts and restaurants, Walt Disney World has suspended most character dining as part of enhanced health and safety measures.

You'll find a few changes to Minnie's Seasonal Dining to comply with those measures. The meal now will be prix-fixe -- including an appetizer for the table, choice of entrees, dessert and non-alcoholic drinks -- rather than the traditional buffet. You'll be able to wave and throw kisses to the characters and snap their pictures from a safe social distance.

The spooky fun remains unchanged. There will still be plenty of themed music, Halloween decor and more.

There's no word yet on whether Minnie's Seasonal Dining will transition to a Christmas theme right after Halloween as usual. Nothing has been usual about 2020 for sure! I'd keep an eye on the Hollywood & Vine web page or the Disney Parks Blog for updates.

Happy dining, Brandy, and please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you as you make your plans. Enjoy!
