Can someone tell me if the Dining Plan works for a family of 4? I hate to make reservations to eat for any sit down service because I know the kids will want to go, go, go. I don't want to find ourselves having to sit for lunch or dinner.

Hi, Patty!  If you know going in that your family won't want to do any sit down meals, then you might want to look into the quick service dining plan.  You can find all the details on this dining plan HERE but the basics are that you will get two quick service - or counter service - meals each day, along with snacks for everyone.  I think there is enough variety in the counter service options to keep most families content without having to eat burgers and fries on a nightly basis.

I will say, however, that many of the table service restaurants at Walt Disney World are experiences in and of themselves.  You will find dinner shows, character meals, and restaurants with unique themes and fun atmospheres.  Even if you do the quick service dining plan - or no dining plan at all - you might still want to look into booking a character meal or one of the other fun dining options.  My kids always have a blast at 50's Prime Time Cafe and Whispering Canyon.  'Ohana is another meal popular with my girls.

    Have a great vacation!
