Someone said that they will be taping the ABC Christmas Parade the first weekend in Dec. first is this true? Second, do you have to buy special tickets for this event? If so how and where? Is this a bad week to be going? Is it going to be very crowed?

    Hi Angel!

Historically the taping does indeed occur the first weekend in December.  Some years Disney requires tickets and other years it doesn't.  I haven't heard about this year yet.  I can tell you that you can still enter the Magic Kingdom using a Magic Your Way ticket.  Just know that Main Street USA will be very crowded, as well as other portions of the park.  If you decide to watch the taping, just be aware that it takes a long time.  The parade stops several times and "backs up" to re-do something to make sure that everything will be perfect on television.

The Magic Kingdom will indeed be packed, but the rest of the parks won't be bad at all.  In fact, it is a relatively quiet time to visit, except for the taping in the Magic Kingdom.

I hope this helps!  Write back with more questions.
