    Someone on your site told me about the buttons you can get for your first vist in the theme parks. Is MK the only park or can u get one at any of the parks? we are bringing our son for the first time in may! Any suggestions of things we must do?

    How exciting for your son to have his first visit to Walt Disney World!  If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, you can let them know when you check in that it is his first visit-they have the pins right there and will happily give him one.  If not, you can obtain one at any of the parks-just go to Guest Services when you arrive and they will make sure he gets it.  Have him wear his pin at all times-he just may get an extra Hello, or other greeting which will make him feel special.  As far as suggestions for must-do's, you will definitely want him to experience the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom-just be sure to check the weekly times planner included with park maps so you will know when they are scheduled.  Also at the Magic Kingdom is The Pirates League where he can be transformed into one of Captain Jack's Crew-as this is a very popular activity you may want to call and make a reservation at 407-WDW-PLAY (407-939-7529). Finally, one of my best suggestions is to sit down with him when you get there and show him the park maps and what attractions, shows and experiences are available at each park-parents are sometimes surprised that what they think their kids would love is totally different than what that child would like to do. My kids often just wanted to stay at the resort and swim rather than be in the parks all day.  Letting him set the tone will definitely make it a special first visit-have fun!
