Unfortunately,
Resort Airline Check-In Service is not currently offered at Walt Disney World Resort, which means you’ll be responsible for checking in for your flight with the airline or your travel agency. My family tends to take the early flight home so I’ve actually checked into flights while participating in a runDisney race a few times!
If you’re staying at All-Star Movies Resort, All-Star Music Resort, All-Star Sports Resort, Art of Animation Resort, or Pop Century Resort and flying on Southwest Airlines out of Orlando International Airport, you have the option of using
Airport Luggage Transfer Service. After checking in at one of the Resorts I listed, call or visit Luggage Assistance to ask for details about this service. The day before you leave Walt Disney World, you will need to check in to your Southwest Airlines flight. Then, drop your bags off at Luggage Assistance at the designated time. It’s strongly suggested you drop off your luggage the night before your departure. The deadline to drop off your luggage for a flight scheduled before 1:00 PM is by 1:00 AM the night before your flight, or if your flight is on or after 1:00 PM at least 4 hours before your flight or no later than 1:00 PM, whichever comes first. The Airport Luggage Transfer Service is still considered a pilot service and subject to change, so make sure you stop by the Front Desk of your Disney Resort to ask if it is still available.
