Could someone please tell me what type of coffee maker is in a standard room at the Animal Kingdom Lodge? Thank you!

    Hi Dana,

A cup of coffee in your lovely Animal Kingdom Lodge room is the perfect way to start a Walt Disney World morning. I was there earlier this week and enjoyed sipping the Joffrey's coffee I brewed in my room as I got dressed and ready for my day of fun. The current coffeemakers are single-cup Cuisinarts that use the soft, pouch-like pods. You will have a supply of regular and decaf coffee pouches each day, along with nondairy creamer and sugar.

If you are not staying in a savannah-view room, I suggest taking your coffee to one of the public overlooks scattered throughout the resort. There you can sit in a rocking chair and watch the zebras, giraffes, ostriches and more. On my visit this week, the zebras and gazelles were frolicking around each other while a giraffe serenely ate its breakfast. Ahhhhh!

On another note, I highly recommend all the restaurants at Animal Kingdom Lodge. My friends and I had a fabulous meal this week at Sanaa. Don't miss the bread service there! I've also had many memorable meals over the years at Boma and at Jiko.

Thanks for your question, Dana. Please let us know if we can provide any other information or recommendations for you as you finalize your plans. The Disney Parks Moms Panel is always here to help.

Enjoy your visit to Animal Kingdom Lodge!
